On civil cases (those cases where our client needs to file a claim or lawsuit against another person, company or government agency), we normally work on a contingent fee basis (meaning that we are paid for our services only from any monetary recovery obtained for our client). Thus, "affordability" should not be a concern for anyone who has been wronged and needs our help.
On criminal cases (those cases where we are defending our client against criminal charges brought by a city or state agency), we use a highly competitive flat fee schedule and do everything possible to accommodate our client's financial circumstances, including the acceptance of credit cards and payment plans.
